Meet LIFE Dealers: David & Lilia, Splendora, TX
We are pleased to introduce to you David and Lilia. David is a retired respiratory therapist and is a vibrant 70 years young while Lilia is 69. They reside in Splendora, TX just outside Houston. They have two grown sons. They moved from the Phillipines to Canada in 1969 and then to Texas in 1985. The following is an interview conducted by our VP and GM Dale Guiducci with David in early December 2008.
Dale- How did you learn about alkaline water? David- I was in Los Angeles and was suffering from acid reflux. A Kangen®(Kangen® is a trademark of Enagic Co. Ltd.) dealer let me try the water and I got relief right away. I paid $4200 for the unit because I felt the results from the water. I became a Kangen®(Kangen® is a trademark of Enagic Co. Ltd.) dealer for two months but I couldn’t sell any machines because they were too expensive.
Dale- So how did you find LifeIonizers? David- I researched every company out there and found that LifeIonizers was the best ionizer for the best price. I called Adam Marshall at your office and he explained everything to me about becoming a LifeDealer. I bought a Dealer kit and 3 ionizers and had them sold before I received them.
Dale- How do you sell so many ionizers? David- I talk to everyone about the water, and then I let them try it for a week or two. People must try the water so they know about it for themselves. I especially talk to people with health problems. I talked to a lady whose body was swollen from heart problems. I gave her one gallon of alkaline water and she started getting relief, her swelling went down. So she bought a LifeIonizer.
Dale- You are also building a good team of people all over the country and Canada. How are you finding these people that are becoming LifeDealers too? David- These are my friends. My friends trust me and will listen to me.
Dale- These people are selling ionizers too. Do you teach them what to do? David- Yes. I teach them how to sell and close the sale. I tell them how to do a demo and have people try the water but they have to know how to close the sale. A demo only won’t get people to buy.
Dale- What’s the best way to close a sale in your opinion? David- I ask people how much they are spending on bottled water. Usually they are spending $15 to $30 a week. I then ask them if they want to save money. Of course they say, “yes”! I tell them that the ionizer will last 15 years so they are spending only $100 to $135 per year. That works out to be about $8 to $12 a month versus $60 to $120 a month for bottled water. I try to help them with the financing by working with Bree Carrasco at your office. This makes it even more affordable for people.
Dale- What else do you tell your customers? David- I tell them, “Quit drinking soda and bottled water that cost too much money”. Save your money, save your health!”
